I've only used my car four times this year, which is very depressing.
Anglesey
Burghley House
Zolder
Nurburgring
In my defense that is mainly due to my failure to get my car under 105dB, although I am much closer now I have a proper back box.
Anyone else have a working car and used it so little?

Think my mileage is similar to scottys around 1400. Already sorned for winters projects. Tax ran out so made more sense to sorn it.
Same with me Peter, my sorn kicked in end of September, the car is not even in my garage this winter, storing it in a mates barn so I can have the mini in my garage at home to work on.similar story here, had a few good runs out early this year, decided to address a crank oil leak out which turned into a refurb of all associated bits, clutch, flywheel, slave (rp), manifolds, water rails, plugs, valve clearance, heat shielding, chassis touch up...... Then work, family & diy projects got in the way!
Everything's ready for re-assembly so will be out and about over winter!

Same story with mine. Finally got it MOT'd a few months ago but not even bothered taxing it yet as I've just not had reason to use it yet.
I work from home mainly and when I do drive it's generally only 5-10 miles into Canterbury - usually through a bit of traffic.
Did think about selling but it still needs a chassis refurb, the paintwork isn't the best and the interior is a little shabby. If anyone knows anyone who wants to buy a Cerb to do up?
Aide, fancy rebuilding a Cerb?

Another engine fail in March has had me off the road too
Pick her up from Andy on tuesday and getting cracking with the running in! Once that's done it more running in followed by a trip up to Joolz to finalise the map and then off to Wales for a road trip.
I think hiring a Morgan 3 wheeler earlier in the year has given me more confidence when driving in less than perfect conditions...

I have the opposite problem, I struggle to keep within the 7500 miles I am allowed by my insurance which on one hand is great but on the other she in no longer a low mileage example.
I had the same issue with my Chim, but gave in and phoned my insurers, Classic Line. Nice chat with the lovely Laura and half an hour later I had an unlimited mileage quote that was about the same as my daily driver. I now do about 12,000 TVR miles a year and love every one of them I simply use them when I want to. I don't think about trips. Both are insured for 3000 miles pa. Sagaris has covered 1600 miles and T350 1200 miles this year so far. Went up to see my folks yesterday....could have taken an 'ordinary' motor...I thought s*d it...take the Sagaris so I did!...150 fun-filled miles later and smiles on my and other peoples faces...perfect They are taxed all year round so as not to miss those fine winter days! For me, its a mindset.....I drive them if I want...I don't feel guilty not driving them... Just like I have never figured my fuel efficiency...ever! Not 'lecturing' you understand...just my viewpoint...for what it's worth
