AFAIK the Top Gear Cerbera was fitted with a 4.5 Tuscan Challenge unit.

The famous drag race car was a 4.2. Autocar believed the car had a special engine in it as it was so fast, so much so that they took it to a rolling road. The figures were exactly as quoted by the factory for a 4.2. The Top Gear road test car had a Tuscan Challenge 4.5 fitted.

Is there any video available of the road test?

Weird, you would think the special engine would be in the shoot out, and the tractable engine would be in the road test car, rather than the other way round.

With those pipes in the engine, looks like a 4.5 to me, so why did they state it was a 4.2

The drag race wasn't Top Gear - it was one of Jeremy Clarkson's Christmas videos. The video was "Unleashed on Cars".

It wasn't the same Cerbera that Clarkson road tested on Top Gear.

No I believe you are mistaken, yellow ones are defiantly the fastest.
