Hi Mark

My engine has carbon fibre back-plates and short induction. My fuel rail and cam covers are powder coated as near to moonraker black as I could get them. Almost all bolts and self tappers for airbox back-plates are stainless steel. All jubilee clips are stainless steel too. Front and rear airbox brackets and all steel coolant pipes along the sides of the engine and up front under the F1 Panel are shot blasted and powder coated in black.

I've just noticed that maybe because of the car you own this is in the wrong section. Still they are uploaded now so maybe of some use, maybe not.

Kind regards

Simon

I'm ashamed of my engine bay. It needs some love over the winter...

sorry for the poor quality but they're phone pictures.

Got some repainted airboxes, short induction kit, carbon fibre backplates.
sandblasted all the coolant tubes in black and some black silicone hoses.
and ACT performance manifolds (which you can't see frown)

Not as fancy as simon's but still smile

The first upgrade any AJPx with a standard ecu needs is a cooling fan mod. Then, for the v8, an oil stat.

Actually, if it hasn't already been done, then fuel lines first, coolant hoses second then the cooling fan mod (and an oil stat if it's a v8)

Have to agree with this, when I picked my car up I was only a handful of drives away from creating a fireball.
