It'll be fine !?? I do have breakdown cover though and splitting the journey with a stop in Harrogate for a couple of days to see family, hopefully not to make repairs !!

I had exactly this 18 months ago, getting a plane from Brum to Aberdeen to pick mine up. We stayed at the Powfoot, was very nice!! Make sure you turn right at Cumbria and go for a rumble through the lakes, I promise that will stay with you for a very long time!!

What are you off to get?

You're a braver man than me, I would have had it trailed back to me if it were that far away!

Enjoy! (And maybe take bring some painkillers for the headache you might get from the noisy exhausts!!)

Congrats on your purchase, enjoy the drive home.

Perhaps if we both end up at a track day at Spa we could also do some jumps together.

Haha, the joy of driving a Cerebra home for the first time. Enjoy smile
(Be careful though, even simple things like cold tyres on a dry day make a difference to grip!)

Don't worry, he's done it all before, he knows what he's doing.

After a fantastic day with Barry from tvr Ecosse I am now the very proud owner of my cerb !!
Now having a beer at the Carnoustie golf club now before the Long drive tomorrow !!
It's great and scary to be behind the wheel again after four years and there's that lovely smell of leather /oil/petrol going on , just great !
Dinner and a good nights sleep before the journey tomorrow ! Wish me luck !!

I love these new car buzz threads. We've all had them.

Here's hoping you get the feeling every time you fire the Cerb up!

Congrats, if I wasn't working tonight I'd have dropped in to say hi and buy you a celebratory beer.

Enjoy the drive back tomorrow.

Hi Dave,

Well, everything OK ??

Your post took me back nine years to my flight to the UK and the 500 mile trip back to Lux to bring her home.
Depicted below: A very happy man at the Barbican, my stop-over point.
