Im about to fit a nice shiny set of Nitons, at the risk of asking a stupid question, which way up should they be fitted? I've read they should be fitted "upside down" with the height adjustment at the top and vice versa... Be a shame to get something so fundamental wrong.....

They work identically whichever way up you fit them. Fitting them with the adjuster at the bottom means there is fractionally less unsprung weight (a minuscule amount that makes no real difference), it does however make them easier to adjust with the car on the ground as you can reach the adjuster.

At last…….. Might be worth another few seconds.

Did you get to Spain in the end?

:-) I did get to Spain, I drove the car but for a sprint car it was way too much of a project at the price, so ive gone and bought a full on project car...

So I should be still sprinting the Cerb for the next couple of seasons....

Blimey Warwick, that'll keep you busy!!

Jools has got a whole load of springs on the shelf if you need some.

Well done Warwick.........I saw that too, but impending house sale has put all those plans on hold!

Guess I'll be in my invalid carriage by the time you get that up and running LOL ;-))

Ever wish you'd never started something, exasperated of Hitchin mad

Near side rear corner, no probs, bit of a learning curve, thought the other rear would be a doddle - wrong.. its only 2 f'n bolts, neither of the ba@#$€£@ds will come off. Ive cut the nut off the top one and the t¥@t still wont come off, seems to have welded itself to the bush in the top wishbone!!!

Now drinking a glass of wine and considering taking the angle grinder to itshoot

Argh. I feel for you Warwick. If it's any consolation I just got my own ECU back today after being fixed and it's instantly transformed in to a complete bag of nails.

I have some Ohlins just arrived to refurbish and fit which I was looking forward to but am feeling pretty down about the Cerb tonight.

I'm also well in to the wine. Mine is a lovely rioja. Yours?

Stand back from the angle grinder...............get the Plus Gas or whatever snake oil you use to release nuts/bolts...........wait until you see the bottom of the bottle...........squirt more release-oil, then go to bed!!

In the morning see what moves?? I would suggest HEAT before angle grinding..........AIMHO!!

Mine was a very tasty Cotes de Rhone drunk

As annoying as it is never give up, im on my 2nd Cerb due to hugely regretting selling the 1st one, one drive is all it takes.
