Bit of help needed with boot control boxes please

Ive got an early 4.2 but with a Tuscan light conversion. The cars been off the road a long time having a big overhaul. But I cant get the head lights to work at all. Everything else appears to be working fine.

I had one control box missing and Ive replaced it with a ME0147 INDICATOR AND HAZARD LAMPS SWITCHING UNIT.

In my boot I have in order starting from the left, ignition control box, ME0147 indicator and hazard lamps unit, big alarm box (modified for new alarm), big door & mirrors box, little dim / dip control box (2 wires cut and spliced for headlamp conversion), then another control box with individual spay connectors x 6.

What exactly is the last small plastic box ( 6 x spay connectors) on the right please?

The ME0147 Ive added, is this unit for later cars only? Should I have a ME0148 LIGHTS SWITCHING UNIT CONTROL UNIT plugged in there instead?

If not where is the ME0148 LIGHTS SWITCHING UNIT CONTROL UNIT on my car?


(The headlight conversion has a fused live direct to the battery and 3 x relays mounted inside the front wing. There is power at the relays and at the dash switch but nothing on any wires at the dim dip control unit)

Check none of the connections to the boxes have been burnout while you're there (common reason for the lights not working).
