I think they look so much better with the single headlamps. imho

But still a gorgeous looking machine.

So much prettier with singles.

I don't want my Cerb to look "pretty", nor do I want it to be mistaken for a noisy MGB wink

Anyway OP, the car looks great, they do look good in blue, but then I am biased.

The Cerbera is a "pretty" car. Its lines are feminine and elegant. The Tuscan is a more contrived, aggressive shape and it suits its headlights very well, however they just doesn't flow with the lines of the Cerbera IMO. If it left the factory that way then fine, but otherwise I would be very wary of chopping the front end to bits. Unfortunately I think that many of the headlamp conversions are done to try to modernise the front end to look like the later cars, which is a shame. A lot more Chimaeras and Griffiths escaped this fate with TVR keeping things relatively as per the original designs.

Cheers for all the feedback people, its always nice to hear compliments.

I also totally understand where people who prefer the single headlamps are coming from.
Obviously it goes without saying i prefer the twins. Also, bizarrely, given i had some pretty horrific gravel rash, and was in need of a front end respray anyway, it was cheaper to have the headlamp conversion, than to replace the corrode reflectors, and crazed/scratched lenses.

As i stated in my initial post, when i started looking for a Cerb, my mindset was either fork out top dollar for a good example, trying to satisfy my tastes as best possible, or spend less on an older / higher mileage example, and use the difference bringing her up to scratch, exactly how i would like... I decided upon the latter, because i felt i could get to know the vehicle better, and rectify more issues, the end result hopefully being something more mechanically sound, and aesthetically pleasing to myself.

So anyway....

The car was recently transported from CentralTVR to Joolz, where she now sits awaiting a full ACT exhaust system (performance manifolds, decats, and large bore sports exhaust, the large back box type), Short induction kit, then a full remap, with additional switchable mapping to top it off....

And then, for the time being, touch wood, fingers crossed, i will be done, and shall hopefully be back in the country for a long enough stint to get to enjoy her! Heres hoping the weather will be kind throughout April and May....

Great looking Cerb, and hats off to you for a. taking the plunge, then b. spending the necessary to get the car up to a decent condition.
If you view the car as a "keeper", then the initial costs can be seen as an investment to get the car into the condition that you wanted, which can then be divided up by the number of years that you intend to keep her, therefore the costs don't seem to bad!!

BTW - you are allowed to keep the sportsbikes AND have a Cerbera......
(I've also got a ZX12R, 02 Mille R, and Bandit 12)

Not so sure. I think a lot of people went with the Tuscan lights, when the fronts needed paint, by way of an upgrade to the lighting.

I toyed with it as my lights are shocking and pretty much unusable at night. I hate the Lupos as they look "odd" and the Tuscan upgrae was pretty much the only other real option as single headlamp reflectors are like rocking horse poo.

I'm going down the new reflector (Porsche ones that have been re drilled to Cerb pattern) and LED route but bought the quad kit to do the conversion as I also really like the look.

In the end, I wanted to keep it original as mine is a very early Cerb. Hoping the LED thing works out......

How on earth did you manage to persuade the missus that 7 bikes is an entirely sensible proposition...??? bow
I can just about persuage my missus that my three bikes are from '98, 2000, and 2002 - therefore they are worth more to me than they would be if sold (not worth much, I know their history (owned Bandit since new, know ZX12R's previous one owner) and they've been extensively modified to suit what I want from each bike...

Soooooo.....
Looking at the photo, do we have:
Aprilia RSVR
Benelli Tornado
KTM RC8
Bimota...? (two stroke thing that sent them bust?)
??? Ducati
Honda NSR250 (?)
MV Augsta F4 1000 ?

The KTM would be the dream bike if I were to replace my RSVR Mille R (02)....

Very, very, very nice.

Ok....

So all recent work now completed at CentralTVR. Thankyou Adrian for what looks like an amazing job.
Headlamp conversion to full HID, Quad tail light conversion, refurbished alloys in shadow chrome, new bonnet badge, and a good polish to top it all off!

Looking rather sexy even if i do say so myself!

Superb looking car. Really like the viper blue colour in particular and the twin (rather than triple) headlight conversion gives it such a cleaner look.
