Anyone thinking of selling a later model 4.5 2001/2002 ? I would be interested. Previously had a 4.2 loved it.

Don't discount the last of the 4.2's, they might not have the ultimate headline HP figure but they certainly have the Torque being as they were 4.5 bottom ends. They also come with one of the biggest benefits; the 4.2 intake which IMHO gives a crisper throttle response....

Should be able to get a late 4.5 in great condition for £22K or £25K if a Red Rose.

I think you're uncharacteristically off the mark Gazzab, even if you could find one, I don't think you'll get much change out of £30k for a Late Red Rose in great condition.
A late standard 4.5 in great condition would start at £25k.

What is implied by 'great condition'?

I would guess

Refurbed chassis or one not requiring work.
Sound engine
Mint interior & excellent exterior
On the road with no jobs needed doing?
