Is there suppose to be a cover to cover these as mine has a recess with
Pull handles on show and they don't look nice

FYI, No covers on mine either. Designed for easy access in case of emergency I assume.

Mhmm hope you don't need to get to them in a hurry them i would leave them easily accessible as designed.

I think of them as a talking point. Get lots of passengers asking what are they for. Usual replie is ejection seat. Although people mistake the door open button as windows and you have to intervene quickly especially when on the move.

The recess is leather trimmed, attention to detail that I found very reassuring.

Just bear in mind that in the event of an engine bay fire (not entirely unheard of in Cerbs!) you may lose power to the doors. Speaking as someone who has needed to exit a burning car quickly (thankfully not the Cerb) you want to be able to get out as quickly and easily as possible. Not only would I strongly suggest not covering them in any way, but I always draw them to the attention of a passenger who has not been in a Cerb before and I check them regularly to ensure that they work correctly and without difficulty. You don't want to find yourself in the position of having to get out of the car in a hurry with dead electrics and a shut door, with a loose T handle in your hand!

Although I agree leave them 'open' As I like them exposed for same reasons as above. Covering them with something held in place by velcro really isn't going to slow your emergency exit down a great deal.

Anything that slows you down finding or using them in a smoke filled car when you are choking on fumes and smoke, can't see, can't breathe and your trousers are on fire is a bad thing even if it is only marginal. Its difficult enough to find a normal car door handle in those circumstances, don't underestimate how difficult it is unless you have had to do it for real.
