Reducing numbers, keepers or just poor classifieds
Discussion
I always used to browse the PH classifieds for Cerbs as it was the place to find them.
So, this is the current status. When I bought my first one there were 65 for sale. No we're down to 18.
So, what do you reckon it is? Are they becoming rare beasts, people just keeping them or has PH classifieds just not the place to sell a Cerb these days?

Yep agree with Gazza, there is very little reason to sell them
I am in the middle of buying a Sag but not sure what I am going to do with the Cerbera. I am torn as to sell it or not. Financially it doesn't make much sense to sell, better than keeping the money in the bank! but I could do with the space and it would be sad to see kept just as an asset. My daughter was horrified when I said I might sell it as she loves going out in it and of course the whole family can't go in the Sag.

Its fairly well known on here that I bought mine for £5400 seven years ago and its been perfect. Respray this year and it'll be worth £15k. No-one wants to sell and people outside the TVR world are hesitant. These days, far too many people are more happy to let garages sort their cars so powerful BMW's and Audi's are more reliable. Trouble is, they don't have the soul!!
I'm proud of my 'ok condition' Cerbera which has a super strong chassis (but covered in waxoil) and it's 25000 mile running gear. It's fully functioning as I know it inside out and I know it'll be worth £30k in 10 years!! Keep it!!

Yeah my N92 BMW Convertible was a model of reliablilty. 2.5 years old and it in the 8 months I owned it, the entire nearside front headlight washer mechinism disappeared over the roof when I activated one day, the aircon completely packed up nessisating the entire dash to be removed, and it failed its first MoT on emmissions due to a some sensor failing somewhere. Cue a very funny conversation with Carr's BMW Bury St Edmunds when they phoned me up to see why they hadn't scene the car for a few weeks "I have sold it and replaced it with something more reliable", "Oh Sir, whats thats?", "TVR Cerbera" - and to be fair in nearly 4 years all thats gone wrong is the alternator failed.I'm proud of my 'ok condition' Cerbera which has a super strong chassis (but covered in waxoil) and it's 25000 mile running gear.
