Hi all

The cerb tried yet again to kill me tonight.

Can't rearly blame her totally as she was embarrassing a RS Turbo at the time

But when it came to stop her she pulled so hard to the left I almost came off the Tarmac
So lifted off the pedal and she corrected herself then brake again and off to the left again
Admittedly at rather high speed this occurs . Is this just another part of the character of these cars
Or is it likely to be something more sinister

Something not right, certainly not a characteristic of the cars.

Get the Geo checked and have a look at the disks and pads as well.

Or could be your right hand brake caliber is seized up hence all the braking is on the left and under extreme pressure it will pull left, try checking the heat generated between the two.

Checked the discs today after a good run and right hand disc had blue marks on it overheating. And the left
Was warm but looks normal
It's pulling to right not left I'm over 40 and get confused so yep possibly calipers is not working at all I think

First thing I would check is the most obvious...... Tyre pressures.

It came back from service on Saturday and I checked the tyre pressures and front were 32 and tears 36

So I dropped front to 24 and rears to 26 as I thought that's the correct pressure am I wrong

I think it will be an imbalance between calipers right v left. Tyre pressures in my Hand book say 22 psi front, 24 psi rear. This was the 16" OZ.

I'd get the car on a jack and check the caliper and pads

I had pads glaze on cerb no 2 and virtually lost all braking. I guess one side might have glazed....

Think I have red stuff (but could be wrong). Otherwise Ive had Ds2500 from memory.
The CL's are well thought of - Brummie on here supplies them.

The CL pads or Pagid RS14's will take just about any abuse you want to throw at them.

I use the Pagid as they seem quieter than the CL but that is just my experience.

We can supply CL, Ferodo DS2500 and Ferodo DS Performance, plus any disc you might have.
Depends what usage/money you want to spend,

Disc info here.
