Does anyone have any experience (good bad or indifferent) of the Helix Autosport clutch kit?

Or have an alternative recommendation for mainly road use?

Thanks

Have no experience of it but being able to replace the friction plates alone could be advantageous for cost conscious owners like me.

Slightly less expensive than the AP clutch, but I do like the progressive feel of the AP and wouldn't want to lose that.

The aligning tool is extremely useful if you don't have someone willing to help by pressing the clutch pedal when refitting the gearbox.

Highly recommend the RP Slave whatever you decide.

I was recently recommended to stick with AP. I'm sure if there are few responses of users, that may help you decide.

I haven't heard a bad word about the Helix yet.. I used a Helix in my old BMW fine (300bhp).

Heavier than an AP with less feel. Plus the first one I bought didn't fit correctly.

I'll let you know - there's one being fitted to mine at the moment.

Thanks, that would be appreciated, the ability to replace only the friction plates in the future is a big plus point.

Is the £762 just to buy the clutch or to buy and have fitted?

Just the clutch.. Fitting is extra. Not really that bad DIY.

I've fitted a helix clutch and whilst slightly lighter not as light as claimed but its more than comparable to the AP unit.

Very happy and the advantage of being able to just buy the friction plates is a bonus.

Would recommend.

Add in another £250 for the new slave cylinder and it's about £1k for parts alone...

A Cerb clutch is definitely not cheap! Luckily I have already invested in the slave.
