Not sure if anyone else has come across this phenomenon? I was investigating why I had a crunching noise on full left lock and spotted that the front anti-roll bar (25mm dia) on my Cerbera 4.5 had moved about an inch sideways from the central position so the drop link was touching the brake hose on full lock.
I've ordered some new anti-roll bar bushes and drop links and will fit these and hope that it stays in place. My question though is has anyone come across this before and is there a known issue or way that I should be installing it to prevent lateral movement of the anti-roll bar occurring in the future?
The 2 little plates (about 1inch by 2inch) that sit under each bush that screw into the chassis either side of each bush were sitting beneath the protective metal plate that is under the oil filter etc. Is that correct or should they be between the plate and chassis to put more pressure on the bush? The car is not with me at present for me to see if there is space to actually do this so forgive me if it's a daft question.

If the mounting is similar to the chims then you can clamp a jubilee clip around the ARB each side of the mount.

Ah ha. Thanks for that. That sounds as if it would do the trick, even if a bit Heath Robinson. Can any Cerbie owners verify this is the method on Cerb's?

Whenever you resort to a workaround, it's always worth asking: what is that hiding?

An ARB that has nothing to stop it moving sideways.

Maybe hammering around too many clockwise circuits has not helped?
