And original build sheets so owners could see how their cars were specced when new.
As a club member I recently approached the club archivist in an attempt to obtain copies of my car's records. Mervyn, the Club Secretary, was very helpful and advised that the club no longer had access to this information as Mr Smolensky had decided that the information was commercially valuable and had therefore restricted access.

I am now applying to TVR Manufacturing Ltd and expect there will be an unreasonable fee attached, hence the restriction.
Apart from the records that the club has folk may be surprised to learn that Smolensky actually threw a lot of those away, so I'd doubt if even TVR themselves now have a full set.

It was third time lucky for me, after having written twice to the club archivist with no response.

Have to say I got a response from the club within 24 hours thumbup. TVR responded within 48 hours to my first e mail, they then followed it with a phone call and sent me a copy of the original manufacturing / build sheet shortly afterwards. Pretty impressive for a 40 year old car.

Really....

You must be making that up.....

No way could the TVRCC ever be wrong and completely out of touch with the marque they are supposed to be experts on....
