Fan speeds

I've noticed that when using my lovey refurbished air con system, the blower fan roughly puts out half the amount of air which the heater switch (dial) puts out.
Is this normal for an early Cerb?

Mine did this

It was the flexi tubing that the air flows through not connected probertly and was only dispelling half the air flow

Thanks for the reply, where is that joint you describe ?
Is it just one fan on the car or two?

There's 2 fans. The Heater Box is in the passenger front wing, and the air-con box in the driver's side. If you look under the dashboard you'll see some 3" diameter hose running across from the wing to the centre console. Check thats connected securely. If that fails it might be your fan needs a good clean, but getting the cold box out of the wing is a bugger of a job. In the end I added an inline blower fan under the dash to give the cold air speed some extra oompf.
