Morning all,

The pipes between the condenser and the receiver / drier etc have little purple O rings to seal them. They look a little squashed so I want to replace them. I see that Halfrauds sell green ones, will these be OK?

Mine has green ones, the system was gas tight for 2 years up until I dismantled the car!

Yes- the green ones will be fine so long as they are the right size. I used them in mine when I rebuilt the aircon several years ago and it is still leak free and ice cold.

I also used the Halfords ones, just check the blister packs for the rough size you want. In my store each pack was subtlety different.

And don't forget, if its been open to the atmosphere, you need to put a new receiver/drier in.

Yeah I read about that in another post so I've got one on the way.

Many thanks again
