Hi guys thinking of this conversion for a sp6 Cerb as opposed to going for the 6bolt is it a simple case of adapter bracket to accommodate the different mounting centres or are more issues involved.

Anyone that's ever done it?

Looking forward to hearing... Thanks in advance

Not done it with CP6600, I used HiSpec. They had brackets that were almost perfect and I machined the hub face of the ally bells by 0.6mm to get the disk centered just right.

So the answer is yes, all calipers use brackets, you just have to get the measurements absolutely spot on or the pads rub or don't fit over the disks at all. The pads MUST NOT come outside the friction surface of the disks for obvious reasons. If it's not obvious it will be when the pads wear till they touch and no longer clamp the disk. Not sure of the pad/disk thickness on the Cerbera precludes that though as the disks are quite thick.

If you have disks with separate bells you can machine them a little or shim them out a little to center things so you get a second chance if you are a fraction out on the bracket.

Thanks Jon, calipers purchased and being painted gloss red with black logos. Reyland are supplying me with the correct mounts no problems and some 350x30 discs with bells I'm also gonna get some red braided hoses and new brakelines.

Yes they were but mines a 2000 MK 2 Cerb so still on the earlier CP5200. everything sorted is just simple case of adapter mount bracket.
