Bodylift, but only because you've mentioned it a few times.

Yep, I keep thinking if a go one about it all the time it won't hurt so much when the bill gets presented.

Do I get extra points for saying that looks very much like Str8Six with the pylons in the background and the wooden fence?

If so I spent a number of hours wandering around there while my shocks were changed laugh

It is indeed STR8SIX, thought I would get it done by the best.

Well this is it now.

They are expecting to build it back up again over Christmas, the two apprentices that Jason has working there are doing it (with my prior agreement and under the supervision of Jason) as part of their college project work so I know it will get done well.

You can see from this that the powder coating has pretty much gone from all the out riggers.

Also having the dampers serviced and all fuel lines replaced so the normal sort of things done.

Good man - they will learn so much from taking a car apart and putting it back together again. yes

That is the point, we need new blood into the business of keeping these cars on the road and Dan and George are two of those people.

Latest update is that the chassis is now completely stripped down and ready to go to the shot blasters.

This is the worst bit of corrosion drivers side from corner of the out rigger.

Latest update is that the car is completely stripped and the chassis is waiting to be sent of to Newark for teh repairs to be completed.

Then I have this pile of bits that need cleaning.

And while this is out this is going to have new main and big end bearings fitted and a new half time bearing pressed into the chain cover as the one in it rattles.

As already mentioned by one poster all new fuel lines and brake lines will be fitted.

Has any one else managed to crack their rear ARB mountings like this?

Will I expect to hear a fanfare as your chassis arrives in Newark? ears
Nick at Newark is the best at chassis work - you couldn't be in more experienced hands.
If you are in the area checking on progress, do pop by for a chat/tea/coffee/meal.

BMWCC Trackday, very well run but they do try and keep the non BMW numbers down but the group I am normally found at circuits with are allowed along to play as we have supported them for years and we do have a couple of BM's in the group.
