It is with deep regret that i must inform you all of the sad passing of Mark Mason, aka Mad Mark on PH. He passed suddenly yesterday.

I know many of you knew him, he was a long standing and well liked member of the Cerbera community. He was also a loving Son, Brother and Dad.

RIP Mark. You will be deeply missed.

Never met the man, but have read many of his posts over the last few years, all of which invaluable. I'm extremely sad to hear of the passing of a member of what is a very close knit community.

RIP Mark.

Holy Sh**!

I knew Mark really well. Had a lot of fun times back 2004-2007. Runs out in his black Cerbera and my Chimaera or Griff500 along with Arebrec, Midas Al, Bombay BadBoy, Amazon, Red Eye and others. I am sure Tracy will remember the notorious run out to The Woodman when the police took a very dubious view of an overtake Mark performed! and followed our convoy for miles to the pub before reading Mark the riot act - while we all tried not to snigger.

Mark was one of the first TVR owners I met after buying my first TVR in 2004 and I always lusted after his black Cerbera, so much so I think he was primarily responsible for me eventually buying one back in 2011. A car I owned up until June this year.

His passing is a big loss to us all

Very sad news especially iirc he was in his 40s. I met Mark a couple of times through TVR events and locally at PH Essex events, a gueninly nice guy and a loss to the TVR community.

I can't go into more detail in afraid , he had 2 daughters (my step daughters) and our main concern is their welfare at the moment. He was a fantastic loving dad to them and they are still in shock .

Very sad to hear this. I only met Mark once, at the ACE, but had numerous helpful PH forum conversations with him. He was a credit to this community and I'm quite sure to those around him.

Godspeed Mad Mark.

There's a whole generation of owners that will forever be indebted to his Clutch Replacement Guide. I could never have kept BlackBeauty on the road without his thoughtfulness.
