991 GT3 Prices
Discussion
The 991 GT3 prices seem to have dropped dramatically over the last few months, do you think this is down to the gt4 and gt3rs coming to the market or just a correction in prices? Do you think they will drop much more in the next 6 months? Maybe time to cash in on the gt4 and wait for gt3 prices to drop

Suspect it's partly due to cars coming into the market as owners trade in for the RS or the GT4 and partly due to the time of year. I think winter has always been a slow period for selling cars like the GT3 and things might pick up in March...bigmowley said:
Still above list though. Scarcely a crash
depends if you paid £165k 5 months ago and now get a trade bid of £110kthat's quite a crash, but lets not split hairs over £55k or £11k a month :-)
on the other hand if you paid £110k new and got a £20k Porsche pay out and sold it two years later with 15k miles you did ok lol
No evidence of major price changes since Autumn........unless anyone has actual evidence??
......JZM recently sold nice spec multi owned/flipped low mileage GT silver 14 64 plate clubsport ap £148k, similar 4.5 k miler in black up at £145k, just sold higher mileage white clubsport at ap £137k and a nice white 1k mile comfort at ap £137k.
OPC prices seem to have risen, though many clearly are SOR cars. Best value recently was white nice spec and mileage 64 clubsport at c £140k Leeds.
Usual story, right spec and mileage at right price e.g. above will sell quickly. Demand will doubtless pick up towards Spring....always does.

That depends on the GT3 in question.Robbo66 said:
Good, right spec cars will sell whatever the season. I do however, feel that may be a significant correction coming for the 991RS.
Agreed - you've got to want to own the RS for a good number of years if you're paying £250k+ for it.(but the same would apply to those paying £160k for the 991 GT3).

More RS's due to come to market too. I think they may suggest at around £140 for a CS for a while. Fantastic car. I think the RS will soften as too expensive to track for the average Joe, and those with a massive collection have other toys and can be fickle. Then there are the flippers. New rules for the OPC's too re selling on.
Next 6 months will be more than interesting.

loads, only 3 months back none were under £140kthen last month none under £130k
now we have 5 or 6 under, it started with a higher miles one now there are 4 or 5 to choose from.
we are a long way from the £165k high days, people so scared to get in while prices drop, unless you make on selling something else and then it's a non issue another £10k drop when some have made 40 to £50k even £90k on a 997 Gt3 or £25 to £30k on a GT4.
then people say these cars are good value over list and 2 years old lol
roll on the next one that will cause a bit of a drop.
