You were all correct.
Test drive and its now mine.
I'll post some pics Saturday.
It's had a huge amount of work done by the previous owner. I have a short list of stuff I want to do but otherwise I'm delighted at the condition.

I have my Tuscan convertible for the roof off bit.

Merry Christmas smile

Only problem now is I'm heading out on a 5 week business trip so will have to be patient.

Hi so called. Proper car there. I'm the last owner so if you've got any questions etc please give me a shout. She has been superb in my ownership and I hope you like the work list that has been completed. There is probably a lot more I didn't document!!

Enjoy the air con in this weather.

Steve

Hi Steve, I was with Ian this afternoon and he said you had seen her on Ph.
Yes, very impressed with your work list.
I'm a very happy man.

Thanks for the offer of advice, what with Ian and yourself in the background I should be fine.

Cheers,
Tony.

Regarding the 5 week trip. I'm going in my Tuscan smile but it also involves Australia and India. (I don't drive in India) wink

I think Ian will be a bit better for advice, he's helped me out no end, I just have ideas and give him my credit card hehe

If I can help with any other aspect please contact me, I have a lot of pics etc. Have you ran her properly yet? That overrun cloud9

Very impressed when the PO contributes to a new purchase thread. Shows total confidence in the car.

Hi Steve, yes, I have a lot of confidence in Ian. He's been looking after my cars for 10 years now.
I only had a short test drive but it felt so good it was enough.
First big run will be a trip to Germany in August smile

I know that car. Always though the dark wheels suited the colour.

Owned a Mk 2 4.5 for a year, yes very fast, but no roof off driving, very expensive if you are a mechanical numpty and the engine/exhaust note is not a patch on the S6, strange thing is I still lust after another one, Aides RR mainly!!
I'm a mechanical numpty and I don't find it too bad to keep it alive through Str8Six and the Speed 6 is nowhere near as good as the AJP, in sound or anything else.....

Congrats on the new purchase. Roll on 5 weeks.....!

Day 6 of owning a Cerbera......day 3 of a 5 week business trip.
Back home the engines coming out for a rebuild and some chassis treatment.

I've lost count of the Cerbera videos on Youtube.
Wheeler Dealer was interesting to watch.

Already driving me crazy. moan
