Advice please , after being checked through from bushes to geometry I have no answer .The car drifts to the left sharply and is aditated by bumps in the road. The weight of my hands stops this but if i let go for a split second the car shoots to the left . Can anyone healp me ? Full concentration is needed or it can drift in to another lane.

Uprated front tubular wishbones are fitted , just wondering this could have something to do with it .

Could be a number of things, as you know. I am at home tomorrow until 3pm if you want to go over it again with me.

Thanks for the offer , i may not have time tomorrow.

I even got a laser level across the center of the wheels each side and then measured , both sides are within 2 mm. I was thinking maybe the front passenger wheel sits further forward than the other side causeing it to pull over.

Have you checked the back end of the car as well as the front, and basic things like tyre pressures.

It might also be worth checking that all the wheels are turning freely (no binding brakes, knackered bearings etc).

I do not mean to patronise you at all, so please do not take offence if I am telling you stuff you already know. It is so easy to overlook the blindingly obvious sometimes - done it so many times myself. Most recently spent several hours trying to track down a steering fault only to find a slightly loose bolt on one of the steering column UJs, The fault occurred a few weeks after changing the steering rack so I assumed it was related to that, but the loose bolt was not one I had touched.

Are both front caliper pistons releasing? A stuck piston might do this.

Tyres can cause these issues, are yours directional to stop you swapping side to side?

My steering will pull based on the camber of the road,,, if I straddle the white lines so get a reasonably flat surface it runs straight.
You say it veers off to the left,, well somethings loose or warn then.
Track rod end or tracking been knocked out over a pot hole etc, rack mounting bolts come loose,,, unlikely though!

It's so simple a suspension, steering set up it can only be a few things.
As said before, you havnt got a rear wheel bearing failing,, mine failed and the rear wheel would move in and out (toe) but it barely made noise and it obviously effected steering but it was obvious it was steering from the back!

Park the car on a flat road - car park is best - then with the engine off push it for a good few yards. If it moves sharply to the left then the wheel alignment is wrong - front and /or back. If it moves straight ahead when pushed do the same by driving it. If it now moves to the left then maybe a diff problem as this is the only difference between pushing and driving. If you cannot push it then binding brake somewhere.

When the wishbones were changed, were the top and bottom balljoints changed too ? Have they been checked for play/seizure, are they seated well ? are the b/j' seated on the taper of the uprights correctly ? has the castor been set within spec evenly ?

Had this on my Golf, checked absolutely everything, geo done, the lot, still pulled to the left. In a final desperate attempt to find the cause I swapped rear wheels for fronts... problem vanished immediately smile Interestingly no visual indication of tyre faults whatsoever.... Easy on the Golf as offsets and diameters are same front and rear....

Late edit... Just a thought Daz, have you got power steering? it's one of the things I looked into before swapping fronts and backs and I found a few threads on other sites which suggested a faulty power steering system can in some cases/types of car cause a 'pull' to one side.... apparently....

You are self-employed Daz.

Are you sure you're not carrying too much cash in your left hand rear pocket?

On a serious note, I would look over it for you but you're too far away.

Sorry to point the obvious out here, but have you check the tyre pressures?

I tested it on a country road ,more a track at 25 mph it sat in a perfect straight line even on a bumpy surface .

I even drove on opposite side of the road at 50 mph with the road camber o pposit ,the car still shot to the left .

It cant of been all checked Daz otherwise it wouldn't do it scratchchin wheel geometry is not a black art, have you changed anything ? hit anything? like mentioned already brake binding? although if you cant detect that much brake bind to cause this situation you need your arse kicking it would be obvious inc a hot front wheel smell of burning etc

I suspect geometry. Who set the geometry after the new wishbones.

I knew someone with the same problem. Went for a 2nd set up somewhere else, still did it. Eventually a 3rd set up somewhere different again and it was sorted.

yes Trouble is once the tyres have been running with that error they form their own shape which makes the pull progressively worse as you rack up the miles, this is why tracking/wheel toe alignment to rectify a pull on say a euro box seldom helps till the tyres are renewed Daz
