Wow,in my Tuscan, we normally take oil, spare fuses, bulbs, triangle hi is jackets and a multi tool.
Drove Cheshire to Algarve, Portugal 4 weeks ago (1700 miles. Took the ferry back so only 1200 miles).
Used some oil and offside headlight changed.
That was after driving the Tuscan back from Germany to collect my wife.
Your not having much luck.
Similar trip each year.
I'm planning on going in my Cerbera next year and won't be taking anything more then either.

Some more miles done. Now in Como having done Susten, Furka, and Grimsel passes without incident. Now to collect the Mrs from the airport. At some point I'll have a look through my dash came videos and see if there's any nice looking bits where I don't show a complete lack of talent or some stills I can extract.

Vision fine, just a bit surprised about what people take with them.
Didn't mean to cause offence.

Yes, pictures of Como please! smile

Last time I was there in my Cerbera it was probably the most perfect day for a drive. All I wanted to do was open the windows, kick back and enjoy a nice decent cruise along the dry, sunny and completely empty tarmac and soak it all in. But some guy in a heap of old bmw just wouldn't fk off away from me :shakesfist: shoot

Should have stopped for an early lunch scratchchin

Really glad you're sorted! driving

Give Monaco a blast. You probably won't get above 10 mph but it's worth it.

Get as pic parked outside the casino!

A rather good drive along Route Gentelly and some of Route Napoleon. No further incidents, although the French truly do have a laissez-faire attitude to life and roll along at well below the speed limit, annoying when you've got several hundred km to do.

Now in Geneva.

Awesome total route, you'll have to tell me more as my dad and I are planning something similar in our Cerbs for next year. We have some places in south of France and my brother lives in Geneva so your route looks brilliant. Glad car is doing what it should... My dad a couple months ago had to drive back from S France with a coolant fan that's decided to go on strike!

And Nils that boot tool kit is something Macguyver would have been proud of!.. let me know wink

And we're back home. Thanks to all who contributed suggestions, and of course huge thanks to Nils! Somehow the car looks a lot cleaner in the photo than it really is.
