Cool Dave - cost prices are:

Samsung = £14.83 + UK Postage Large Letter (£0.96) = £15.79

Sony = £12.66+ UK Postage Large Letter (£0.96)) = £13.62

and I'll reuse some jiffy bags I have around here for postage

I ended up using a dock for charging and the data cable into the charging port on the nexus.
