Hi All,
Searched the issue and came up with removing the mirror to enable access to the button wires. However, there must be a trick to removing the mirror? I don't obviously want to break it by pushing too hard etc.
Any advice please?

It's just clipped in. Move it fully to one side, insert pinkys behind exposed edge, and pull!

It feels like its going to break, but it'l pop off.

Door buttons are a standard maplin part. I haven't the weather proofing on mine and the work fine.

Door and window problems are most commonly due to corroded connectors inside the door rather than the button its self. Replacing the factory connectors with properly waterproof ones was a permanent solution to all my door problems.

Before removing mirror try pressing the button in and moving the button part sideways it will help clean the interneal terminals, worked on mine years ago untill i had time to rplace them.

Thanks fellas.
I got the mirror off, wiggled the button and all working good again. Tightened it up a bit and refitted everything.
Strange one that.
