Im planning to go look at this car and was wondering if anyone on here knew it?

Ive looked at a couple of cheaper ones that have been very rough, so thinking of spending a bit more that I originally planned. Thanks

I may well be corrected but was this car not sold via auction a few weeks ago for a lot less than what it's for sale at now?

It looks good though the front light conversion not being painted puts me off a bit.

Being stored since 2006 would make me think it could do with quite a bit of recommissioning to get it running properly and you may find it would start to require constant replacing of parts.

If you don't mind spending money on it after buying it, feel free but I'd suggest there's other cars out there that are in better condition for similar money.

I was 'interested' in this when I was looking recently as it was within budget. It's been up for sale (not auction) for at least 5 weeks. I spoke to the seller, a trader, who said he had been running it himself and it was the best (out of 4) Cerbera he'd had. It had just failed an MoT (only minor items) and was being sorted so I asked him to send me some pics of the underside... tbh that was enough to put me off, everything (even the wishbones) had been brush painted in thick black underseal, he said it was being scraped off and re 'oilwaxed' (sic) and that put me off a bit more!
But don't let me put you off! Judge for yourself!

I thought it looked pretty good on the whole, there doesn't seem to be many for sale anymore only a handful really on each site at the lower budget end. Waxoyl is obviously a very good rust protector and sometimes just used to protect but used to cover up cars when they are getting a bit scabby to hide things too so your right it would be difficult to tell what the chassis is really like I suppose.

Obviously you don't know what the owner is wanting for it but it certainly looks worth a look to me.

That 'hasn't met reserve' four or five times now! I was watching it when I was looking for mine (May/June).
Seller revealed that the reserve was set 'very close to the BIN price'.
In other words, he wants 20 for it.
