Where am I going wrong?
Discussion
When I was looking recently, I was regularly checking here (which I'm pleased to say is where I found mine), eBay, Auto Trader, carandclassic.co.uk, classiccarsforsale.co.uk... in fact just google 'cerbera for sale' and all those sites come up, which is what I imagine most potential buyers do...
If you've advertised on those, then perhaps your price isn't right after all?

Thank you for the info. I have placed ads in carsandclassics and classic cars for sale. Maybe my price is too low and potential buyers may think that here is a problem, which there isn't. Fingers crossed and a fair wind. If not I will try the other sites that you have suggested 🏁👍

From a quick search, and stalk of your profile, I assume this is your car?

If so, it does seem like a good advert, and a fair price for what looks like a beautiful example. My only comments would be;
Maybe a photo or two of the engine bay.
Make your first photo the best picture of the outside of the car you have, when you search on the wesbsite, this is the photo which comes up, and a photo of the steering wheel isn't that engaging.
You mention it has full service history, maybe detail some of the bigger bills, eg. has it had a clutch, when did it last have new brakes, has it had new shocks, etc etc. This is from personal experience of viewing cars which state 'full service history' only to turn up and be greated by a box full of tax discs and insurance policies, but nothing important.
Also outline any chassis work/protection its had, if its had any.
Hopefully this helps a little.

Really Lovely car NO DOUBT about that mate!
But in my opinion if I were looking, the one thing that would make me personally look elsewhere for the same money would be the fact that NO upgrades or anything has been done?
Like I say thats just me and Im sure people still want a standard Cerbera but I was of the opinion mine had to have the twin lights upgrade, rears would have been nice but cheapest and easiest of having to do myself!
Dampers to a minimum of Gaz Golds (I lucky inherited one with Nitrons). MK 2 seats would also have been a bonus.
Im odd as I always had a vision of what I wanted mine to be like after having extensive time with my dads MK1 so maybe Im not the best to inform. but the bigger jobs like front end and dampers etc were putting me off when I looked and got my MK2 (which was an S6 my engine of choice) but the 4.2 are equally atlas if not MORE wanted.
Im sure you'll sell soon, good luck.

I am not a cerbera owner, and l doubt TVR made the same car twice from the parts bin they used back in Blackpool, they just produced bloody quick and beautiful cars . l feel you haven't put enough effort into the advertisement as remember your trying to sell as your moving abroad. Alot more details about extra work if any has been carried out rather than just 19 service stamps and MOT's as l am presuming this from a 19 year old car. Chassis maintenance is one of the biggest jobs on these cars, if you can produce evidence of any chassis protection work being carried out, and as others have stated performance upgrades like braided brake pipes and renewed fuel lines etc? Just another option though, l now live in Cyprus but have a close friend looking after my chimaera back in the UK, this maybe an option for you too?
Good luck with you sale.
Good luck with you sale.
I'm not quite in the market to buy yet, but will be perhaps this autumn, perhaps next spring - so have been poring over the classifieds daily.
I'd not noticed your advert - don't know why.
Nice colour.
Priced well - but competing for a buyers pound with this: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/t... which is from a dealer, has been re-trimmed and also has had outriggers replaced which must be £5-£6k of work?
If I were looking the first question I'd ask you would be "have the outriggers been replaced?".
Need some better photos, perhaps pay for an AD here on PH?

Thanks again guys - good advice. I am going to place an add on car trader and PH. Had some interest but nothing firm. I do have photos of engine bay, documentation and underside. Not done any major work, apart from rear dampers as everything is good, condition and didn't want to mend something that wasn't broken. Outriggers on inspection from Christopher Neil's Lotus and TVR (report one of the better ones he had seen) any way will bide my time and feel confident that someone will want her - eventually. Thanks again PHrs you know where I am.,
