Hmmm.... yes, there are a lot of variables here...
idea
Let's all us Surrey/Hants/W.Sussex Cerb owners pitch up in Milford at a given time so that we can all try out this drive? It would really get 2gins' relations with the prospective new neighbours off to a cracking start... hehe

Thanks for the photos, really useful especially the back box photo with the little ruler there. So that's 110 mm, how much lower is that than the brace bolts or any other low points? Starting to look more feasible.

Re. trying out the drive, I suggest if we get an offer accepted I'll set up a low key meet there, it would be good to meet some local owners anyway and after tea/coffee etc. a couple of us can take a willing test car over there while the rest watch the carnage and take the mick.

The box will ground out on bumpy roads, but it's the tails that are a problem on steep inclines.

The act quiet back box that I have does not ground out but the tails doo scrape slightly going up my drive.

I had a closer look at someone's car at Silverstone on Sunday, I think the lowest bit is actually not the spreader plate bolts but the bottom of the floorpan just ahead of the rear wheels, not that there's much in it. So if you own a grey metallic Cerbera and saw some odd bloke lying on the grass peering underneath your car, wavey

Its academic anyway as our best offer was beaten. Onto the next house!

Thanks for the contributions again.
