I know it's a small job but need to change one of the side light bulbs which I know should be an easy job.
Just so I don't break the lens how the hell do you get in to the bulb, lens off the front or push the light unit out first ?
Cheers

Take wheel off. Remove access panel. Pull light bulb holder out and change bulb. Push light bulb in then swear as you've pushed the whole lot out.

Peter is correct but with the Pepsi top lenses it is possible to push back gently and twist till the lugs find their release gap (possible on mine at least). So you don't necessarily or unnecessarily need to take the wheel off.

That is also true.

However I did find that the fibre glass is to thick for the light ( the tangs ) and mine were glue in.

Added to that the above setup looks a little different in that. I can see a sidelight bulb inside the lenses with the dipped beam plus there is the separate sidelight pod.

That could be used to make the indicators and their original location used as a DRL or front fog.

If it's to change the light in the dipped cluster then yep that wheel has to come off.

It was the small side light bulb I was replacing and not the one inside the headlamp unit. At some point the main and dipped units have been swapped around however I'm going to leave well alone rather that swap their positions.
It's also wired to give me side lights through the dipped beam units when the ignition is also on......provides around 5V to the dipped beam bulb.
I could even wire in the side lights in the main beam units but I think that's overkill
