Anybody recognise this as a std droplink? Looking to replace them as part of the rebuild, but nobody seems to do them. Shall I just go for the ball socket type instead...seems rose joints are a little excessive for something like this!
That is a Steve Heath upgraded rose jointed drop link. You could fit new rose joints and be as good as new. I have the later longer type. The rose joints seized so I replaced the joints and added rubber boots to stop water getting in.
