Rubber door top finishers
Discussion
Cheers for that but I've already tried TVR Parts but they don't have any and won't be getting any as they aren't made anymore. It's a little bit frustrating that they advertise them, let you pay for them but let you know a couple of says later that they never had them in the first place. Oh well the search continues.
Is this what you mean, there the top of door on front end that sits below the A pillar when closed.
I could lend for purpose of scanning for 3D printing but will not sell them, would also need returnable deposit as last time i lent out it took almost a year to get back and alot of expense on my part.

As well as these there is also a set of B top finishers for the rear of the doors to make up a full set. If anyone was thinking about producing a full set I'd definitely be in for 2 sets. I contacted TVR parts and was told they were out of production but may look in to getting them made again. Maybe if there is enough interest they get the ball rolling.

Not wanting to b!tch too much, but they said the same thing to me two years ago, and still no parts. So I'm guessing it won't happen any time soon.I contacted TVR parts and was told they were out of production but may look in to getting them made again. I find it quite frustrating that we pay a shed load of money for parts and there doesn't appear to be a huge amount of effort from the industry to reintroduce deleted items. I guess it's a case of not enough demand, but as was said earlier in this thread, there are now different manufacturing techniques which allow small scale production at a fraction of the price of having to tool-up for high volume runs as in the past.
I would definitely be up for buying cappings if someone were to print them.
if you can find a friendly soul with a 3d printer then the materials cost is minimal probably less than a fiver for the pair. I don't know what the commercial rates are but there are plenty of people advertising 3d printing services including people doing it from home with their own machines.
Father Christmas brought me a printer that I have been playing with since. Here is a picture of a rubber foot for a Black and Decker Workmate. In this case I drew up the shape and printed it in a flexible materials called TPU. So far this appears to be at lest as strong as the rubber original. For the door tops I think the shape would be better scanned (only one side as i assume they are just mirrored) but I haven't tried that yet. I would use my own ones except they are both split and I don't know how to get them off anyway. (How are they attached/).

If anyone is interested I have managed to track down 3 of the 4 rubber caps needed. I ordered them today from Powers TVR for a very fair price for such rare items. If they don't have any left then Racetech also have 3 of the 4 caps available too, a bit more pricey though. Thanks for everyone's help, cheers.
