..the turning circle of an oil tanker, for when you need to do a U-ey..
Ha!! Totally forgot to note this in my comments. I took the Cerb to John Lewis today and did a 426 point turn getting out of the parking space. Full Austin Powers...!I' think Battleships have a better turning circle.

Brilliant...... Tuscan is bloody awful. Easier to reverse I' think Battleships have a better turning circle.

Thanks guys, don`t try to scare me with bad experiences, sure they`re not all bad lol......
That's what always happens. Someone wants a Cerbera and everyone chimes in with don't do it, it costs a fortune, it'll constantly breakdown. But they're the ones with a Cerbera on the drive and a big grin. They might have an empty wallet, but you can't take it with you....

Looks like it`ll be a sensible idea to wait a bit longer before I get a cerbera then, get something less heavy on the wallet
No please don't wait. They are brilliant cars, mine has been reliable over the 8 years I have owned it, I have several other cars but the Cerb is the normal car of choice for me to use, even to go to the station daily to head to work.
If the weather is icy I may chose one of the others with a better heater but normally I take the Cerb.
I struggle to keep my mileage below the 10k a year limited by the insurance cause it is the only car I just go out in for the sake of going out in it.

Haha true money is there to be burnt, better spent on cars than girls
What is it your looking for from these cars. Things like an AMG A45, e90 m3 or TT RS would embarrass your list of cars cross country and still start every morning when you need to go to work.

Similarly, I have several cars, but the Cerb is my everyday car! Tried all sorts of cars over the years, but I only own TVR's these days. I ran my 4.2 Cerbera as an every day car for two years, covering 20,000 miles per annum. Apart from one expensive electrical fault it was epic. Tyres, fuel, and general servicing were all had to do. I bought it six months old with only 3k on the clock, so obviously 18 years down the line it will be a different story as things will need replacing. It still is one of my all time favourite cars I've owned. I currently run a 996 C4S which I've had longer than any other car I've owned. Never had any issues with it. Service it more than I should, tyres, fuel, that's it. Brilliant car, but not as raw or exciting as the Cerbera. Personally I like the 996 and in my view it's a better car to drive than the fabled 993.
Quite right I'd forgotten the original post mentioned being sensible........
Well ....... it's a TvR at the end of the day and that's about fun.....
Sod being sensible....you can always drive a disposable 500 quid Euro box to work everyday ...... and enjoy yourself whenever you want in the cerbera.....
Is it a daily....sure if you want it to be......
If it's what you want buy it!!!

Basically want my first performance motor, haven`t driven a cerbera, but have been in one, just something about it, The worst that can happen I don't like it as much as I thought I would, no big deal
This does sound like my thoughts too mate. Your heart wants the Cerb and maybe some doubt in your brain but your heart will win. Go for it and you will love the drive for sure. You may not like the niggles or frequency of them (probability but not saying it's certain) but again like me that's what you will love about it. You get to care for, nurture and spend on it to keep it just the way you want. As you say you don't love it as much it will sell and you'll perhaps know more what you want.
