these aren't made anymore, but if we can get 10 people together, they will do a production run.
price is £265 + vat, and a deposit would be required.

will fit Cerb / Chim
any takers?

What does the £265 comprise?

Just the housing or including the lights themselves too?

Self fitment?

"They" meaning TVR Parts?

The afterburner lights do look nice on a Cerb and they do cure the imbalance by having a fog and reserve light in each cluster. The only thing I am not keen on is the silver ring which stands out too much for my liking, it would look much better if it matched the red bottom ring IMO.

I've got them on my Chim and bloody love them, they were fitted at Central TVR by the previous owner for around £360 including fitting.

A couple more pictures of what they look like- admittedly not the greatest 'on' picture but you get the idea.

very nice indeed.

Sadly today, if you have the fiesta lights (MK1) in today, your only option is to go the MK2 route either DIY or to Central TVR, but they do charge ~£600, and I'm not as big a fan of the 4 light cluster..

.. as I am the afterburner.

hence this thread.. if you are considering the Afterburner lights now or in the future, then jump on board now. The guy who makes these will only do a production run if he can get 10 orders, as they have long been discontinued.

I've never been a fan, personally. They look a bit Halfords/Corsa go-faster bling to me but each to their own smile

Ya know. after 11 years, I had decided not to answer negatively on some of the crap that gets printed on this site
BUT
this is utter bullst for Cerbs that already have the round-format lights factory fitted - unless you count the use of a dremel as "lights are removed from the inside"

"Beware the salesman "

1. He's not selling them anymore hence the reason for this post
2. It's meant as an upgrade for mk1s. I thought that's was bleedin obvious, but thanks for your constructive input

an update..

there have been a few interested parties already, around 8 i am told so far.
and YES you can have the chrome ring swapped out for a red one, which I know was a stumbling block for those that wanted less bling.

These lights have been discontinued for some time, but by popular demand we are about to produce one last batch. If you would like a pair of genuine TVR Afterburner LED lights please place a deposit of £20 via the Pay Pay button below. If we do not get sufficient deposits, your deposit will be refunded to you. If we DO get enough deposits, this page will be updated.

Please note you can have the chrome LED replaced with a red one.

It may be 2 to 3 weeks before they are ready for dispatch.

Mine came with a 4 light version of these with an extra light in each cluster nearest the boot lid

Here's a quick picture for reference, and just so you can see how they look on a Cerbera

If you have a red based car like me, or a black based car I would think they would look rather good - but of course ytmv (your taste may vary)! biggrin

Glad to see this is already covered here, I received a mailing about this too as I had enquired about these lights previously - my original lights were cracked and was going to cost a lot just in shipping for a replacement set. I did get these fitted and was very happy with them on my Chim. Easy enough fit and you end up with lights on both sides for reversing and fog - on my car at least there was just one light per side originally.

Then order some from their website! £341.50 delivered.

Your hassle of cutting out sealant and re-sealing neatly, and then you will have can have the chavved up, Max Power, Citroen Saxo look that was so popular a few years ago, before all the Saxos ended up in scrapyards!

Some years ago took a Coil Pack off a Saxo in a scrapyard near the Nurburgring to get me back on track - those Saxos can be useful!
