I'm just looking at replacing the coils packs on my 4.5.
Has anyone looked at performance/racing ones? They should be more rugged and give a higher output than the standard item!
Failing that, has anyone got the correct Bosch part number?
I'd rather pay a little more for a more reliable item!
The correct Bosch part number for V8 coil packs is:

0221 503 025

Short remark to the point "power steering rack" and the company www.power-steering.co.uk.:
I sended them my rack two times for overhauling and they didn`t succeeded. Then I tried to reach anybody there to get any comment about this bad work, but, not surprisingly, there was none. This is definitely not a serious company. The price for overhauling is cheap, but the cost for demounting and assembly of thr rack are high, if you have to do it several times by reason of an inaccurate overhauling.

clutch master cylinder did some research turns out its genric to quite a few vehicles however landrover series three etc etc fits, you just need an adaptor to step up to 7/16 unf for copper pipe and also change the push rod off old cylinder,i have just done this and its fine, also found a landrover spares place few miles from home viz wolverhampton and they had them in stock o/e cylinder £30.00 or a cheaper one but not a brit parts one which apparently are not much good, parts guys words not mine, that was £12.00 and came with same amount of guarantee as o/e part so i am giving the cheaper one a go,adaptor was £5.00 but still a saving of around £50.00

Not sure if it has been put up here or not yet, I couldnt see it:

Spark Plugs for Speed Six Engine : NGK DCPR8E

Also, with the Speed Six Starter motor, the BMW one , while being physically similar, it is NOT a good replacement. It is only a 1.2Kw coil and the SP6 engine ideally needs a 2.5Kw Coil. It will burn out.

on my search for lambda sensors and checking all the equivalent part lists, with the sensors being marked as oxygen senor, or lambda sensor i have come up with

Land Rover part number : ERR 6729

http://www.lrdirect.com/ERR6729-Lambda-Sensor-Rrds...

compared to the one i ordered

http://www.gendan.co.uk/product_LB1105.html

which is LB1105

think you'll find the ERR 6729 to be about £20 cheaper too. is this correct?
