Thanks for the interest , have been in touch with penninsula and they recommend their sports exhaust and decat pipes.....total cost 400 quid ...mate to fit 20 quid and the costs of annoying the neighbours ....priceless :d
will let you know how i get on in a week or two.....i will try not to barbeque my fellow motorists ...honest

I can't believe no-one's mentioned the best bit about sports exhausts:...

Drive through a multi-storey...

Then do it again with a few more 'blips'...

It's *so* much fun to see how many alarms you can set off

Right I am having a sulk...I want a sports exhaust badly but I am being told by Henley that it may invalidate my warranty.....how can a bloody exhaust invalidate a warranty when the bloody exhaust isnt covered anyway....anyone got any ideas...or do I just push Henley on it....

Fraser, I spoke directly with Warranty Holdings whi confirmed that the exhaust was not covered under the warranty, howver they did say that if the exhaust was founf to be the root cause of a claim then a non std part would endanger the warranty claim.
Tell Henley to stick it !

Just have to say that HH are full of cr.p - also said to me that it would invalidate my warranty which is not true having now checked it out. They are bad news in my opinion. Like dealing with second hand car salesman - oh sorry thats what they are!! Maybe double glazing salesman would be better!!

Any one else had a bad experience??

Spoke to Fernhurst and they have been dead helpful....they seemed to be quite happy to do the honours (and reasonably too)..given HH reluctance to do the honours I think I might get the bits done at Fernhurst and get the car servicede there from now on....anyone have any experience of Fernhurst except Mr Pike ???

I've got a Fernies sports exhaust, and think it's fantastic.

Swap cars with a mate, and drive behind yours, they're generally not more than a few inches long unless you have some sort of problem!
