A well known Cerbera specialist has suggested that I may have purchased a (well used) SP exhaust system, but I haven't noticed any markings to confirm this. Any thoughts?

It should say SP etched in to the top of the end of each tailpipe if it is.

There are also strengthening braces where the pipes enter the rear box, although those might not be specific to the SP.

Here's some old pics of mine from the other side showing those braces:

It looked much better all cleaned up attached to a nice shiny chassis for the 5 mins I had it on there before taking it all apart again banghead

Looks virtually the same, but no sign of SP on the tails

Where did you get it? Has it a large scrape mark on the bottom of the large rear box.

I ask as it looks suspiciously like the one that was returned to a certain company, that I then sued and won, but the company shut immediately and I never got any money. My exhaust was apparently straightened using a long bar and then sold again by the same person in their new company...

Pros: The sound is really nice from them, they breath well and can add to performance if combined with a mapping.
Cons: The full system didn't meet the 98db claim, which I later found out you need the cats in, which then impacts the performance. The box is large and can sit low so can lead to clearance issues. Mine was fitted with 75mm to the road, hence got scraped. It's also significantly heavier than other offerings than offer similar performance from a smaller package.

It was from our friends in Northumberland, and it wasn't straight when I bought it. I eventually took it to Flowtech in Dagenham who straightened it and fitted it for my. Total cost of full system with H linked decats including shipping, fixing, fitting - £350, which I consider an absolute bargain.
