Hi Andy, That will be me. First time someone has spotted me on here in a year. Thanks for the compliments. Sorry i didn't notice you unless you were hiding in a non TVR.

No problem, your hardly likely to spot an old white Mondeo estate (although it does look a bit like Old Bill without its wheel trims). I was posting a letter on the flyover above the Fortune-of-War when you burbled past. As you appear to be from Essex, have a look at the FAO SJC thread on the HSV section.
Cheers,
Andy

Colin

We just sold your old Griffith two weeks ago, still looking as good as ever with all the shinning leven bits on it, it has gone to a pistonhead member ( a good home)

Hope all is well with the Cerbera - it did look fantastic in that colour combination

Buring the midnight oil again but hey that's what pistonheads is for!

Regards James Agger

Andy, I remember seeing you. Let me know when and where you guys are meeting for a beer and I will try to get along.

James, I was surprised you remembered me. It must have been the number plate. Anyway, didn’t TMS sell the Griffith shortly after I traded it in for the Cerbera as I see it at Duxford last year, or did the guy trade it back in and you have sold it again since?.
My Cerbera has now done 13500 miles and due it’s annual service but have been quoted £640 for an 18000 mile service from what I hear is oil, filter and a set of plugs. Looks like I will be doing this myself as I did with the Griff for the three years of ownership.
Good to hear from you.
Colin.

What about the value of your car - self service is going to mean you wont sell the car in the future.
If the servicing really only reqd oil and filters then indies wouldnt be charging £500 or whatever. Could be a short sighted approach that costs you more in the long run.

Your Griffith is still as mint as ever, the last chap's wife wasn't too keen on the ride and they have plumped for a later Chimaera.

As regards to servicing have you tried Joospeed with regards to your Cerbera as he is the man who can with one of those and he knows the whereabouts of your old baby far better than most ;-)
