Got my cerb up onto the ramps and successfully removed the old rear box. I then decided that before I put on the new sports pipes I would be well advised to slacken of the next stage of pipes and the cats so I could get everything lined up straight (so previous threads have said). Problem is that I have found that the silent block or rubber mounting at the rear of the pipes has split into two. Does anyone have any idea where I might find one? On a Sunday? I guess if I go to Halfords they will probably just scratch their chins. Any help would be most appreciated!

Andrew, the Cerb exhaust rubber mounts are standard Ford items......Ford Granada / Sierra.

Hope this helps

All done! Thanks to the generosity of a member of the Quick-fit staff who kindly donated the rubber mounting!

Now out and about sounding fruity!!!

...except that the newer mid sections don't have the tie-piece - they're just separate pipes - and so they dont have/need the rubber mount as the pipes fracture around there
