Eventually got into my car after having a flat battery, and the car is now charging. The alarm seems to be working ok and can start the car from the remote when armed. However, if I disarm the alarm and try and start the car with the starter button then I get absolutely nothing! The ignition lights don't even come on!

I have a Clifford Concept 600 so any advise welcome. Have I reset the alarm somehow?

It sounds like you need to resync the alarm and imobiliser. Not sure how you would do it with your particular alarm, but with all of the ones I've done it with you simply:

Disconnect the battery.
Wait 30 seconds or so. What the hell. Give it a full minute.
Reconnect the battery.
Press and hold the button on the fob for about 6-10 seconds. The indicators will usually flash rapidly when the alarm is sync'd.

That should do it. If that doesn't work, you may need to resort to reading the instructions for your alarm, or calling the guy who fitted it to find if there is a different procedure for your alarm.

Try using the key not the transmitter to disarm the alarm. If that works then you will need to resync the radio keys.
