hi,

just bought a cerbera and want to transfer my private number plate over. I have noticed that the number plates are back-lit rather than having a separate light. Do i have to order them direct from tvr?

I asked at my local motor factors, who phoned their back-plate suppliers who said 'don't do them, go to TVR!' Had mine done at the local dealers, which were not too expensive anyway. Anyone know any other source?

Fancyplates.com do them and you can design and order your plates online, should be with you in a couple of days - mine were. Be sure to tell them you want a backlit rear for a TVR in the special request section.

Just checked the address www.fancyplates.com

I went through this whole drawn out episode 6 months ago and ended up going back to my dealer (Walldonway) as everybody else I went to, said they couldn't do them. For £ 25 odd quid I could have saved the £ 40 petrol I used trying to hunt around for somewhere else.
