I must admit that the Cerberas put up a good show, they really show what a performance bargain they are! My best time was 25.32 and best terminal 159.2mph, my 5th gear was a little too big for the 3/4 mile. Really enjoyed the day. Well done lonbow! clap
Was your's the fastest cerbera at the event then BW? What did harry's super high hp car do in the end? and how did it compare to nickcc's ? it would have been nice to see those two side by side as harry's is an early car so lighter in weight and also supposed to be more powerful ?
cheers all smile

An excellent day out - good to see many of the regular faces again and some new ones too. My best on the day over 6 runs was actually my 3rd, against HarryW's newly built Cerb (as both our respective match ups were no shows). I managed a half decent launch for a change and clocked a 25.98 secs at 158.75 mph. I’ll let Harry talk you through it hehe On 4 of my 6 runs I was running 158 mph terminals so fairly consistent on that score - pity about the launches though wink Well done to Longbow and Javelin for a great venue and a very well organised event. clap Thanks also to Nicky for the pasties & scones biggrin

Sounds like some good terminals there, so was Nickcc quicker than the Boss, Harrys and Brummiewedge then. Very impressive if he was. I can't believe you all got beat by a Noble, mainly as my mate has one, hope it was heavily modified.
Boss never made itcryI would have like to have seen what one of his cars would have done.Brummies best terminal was 159mph(ithink)
Yeah gutted. A lot of people were attempting to move heaven and earth to have the Boss ready, they and I had been looking forward to this event for ages. We lost a crucial week about a month ago and have been playing catch up with a lot of midnight oil being burnt ever since. I was also really looking forward to seeing what quarter master Cyclone1 would do in II ZERO.

Still, all's right with the world if Nick's Red Rose did the business. Nice one Nick! thumbup

How many cars were faster than Nick's car (time or terminal)?

Hi all,

What a fabulous day!! Thanks to all those who organised it, especially Longbow whose dreams of men in fast cars became a reallity today!!! Oooeerrr!! biggrin

You TVR guys really gave a good show and did your marque proud. Thanks for making all us non-TVR guys very welcome.

Had my own micro battle with BLKROKT throughout the day which went to and fro all day. TVRs are nice....but those damn Porsches!! Awsome.

Spose I shouls mention that fly in the ointment...adrian w, well done sir. A truely fantastic bit of kit you have there.

Helelopter was cool:

Fantastic Day Out.....

Well done Windsor for the inspiration to make an event like this happen and to the Javelin Team for making it all go so smoothly.

Personally it was a mixed day for me in that I didn't get to drive the car I was originally intended to (Phils Cerb 4.5). Instead I had to make do with sharing the drivers seat of my German Taxi of which it didn't disgrace itself and put in some good times........even managed to outlaunch the LP640biggrin

Some fantastic cars on display and some great performances.......the TVRs did themselves proud

Jules.
