Hi everyone

After a year of really fun ownership, I've recently sold my Chimaera 400 and bought this Halycon Midas 4.5.

Very pleased with it so far, and it's an interesting contrast to the Chimaera - much more modern-feeling, and quieter (it's got a standard exhaust including cats). It's a bit quicker too, but needs more revs. I anticipate being on here plenty, worrying myself about potential problems and asking for advice!

They're standard pipes.....

But Whirlwind ones would be in order when Neal is ready to unleash a few more ponies.

Neal,

As said on FCCUK.......enjoy the Cerb.....

Jules.

Whirlwinds are like the ones in my profile on my old Cerb, although these were the hybrid ones prior to us putting them into full production, see here - http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/profile.asp?h...

Thanks Jules - just out of interest, why does a shorter induction run like the Whirlwinds release more horses? What are the disadvantages of it? (i.e why didn't TVR install a similar set-up as standard - could've used half the length of purple hose smile )
