Top beardyness for spotting the venue!

I am no stranger to Curborough. Just can't spell it! paperbag

The Cerb always felt far too powerful for that place, which made me love it even more! evil Will find a Cerb pic soon, but the T350 one above will have to suffice for the moment. smile

GT6k, is that a tennis ball stuffed into the driver's side intake? Is this the "modification" to prevent our feet from falling off through frostbite?

Yes that is the standard tennis ball modification. I have to come clean and say that i was the passenger in that drift, that was the instructor from Driftworks doing the driving.

scratchchin I like the look of the sunroof! How is it at high speeds when it's open?

Just been elevated to "TOP" Cerb photo

(Although I have to admit I couldn't let anyone else do that to my Baby)

The sunroof is a Webasto electric, I think it is the Hollandia Classic large model. It can tilt or retract.

It was already fitted to the car before I or the previous owner had it (so pre 2003) and the previous onwer said he had been told it was factory fitted.

It works very well there is little or no noise from it when closed, certainly less than from the door seals, and no buffet at high speed. It does help suck cold air through which is why I have the tennis ball in the cold intake. It doesnt leak but as it has no gutter drain you have to make sure it doesnt have standing water on it before it is opened or you get wet. Apart from making the car cooler and airier it also serves as a good flat serface to stand tools/nuts and bolts/tea/beer on.

And thanks for the vote on the photo, it would be even better if I had been driving it but I ran out of tyres before my skill level was sufficient to hold it in a drift. The driver is Lex from Driftworks.

Good one Alistair, I dont think I have got any wheels off the ground yet. Having thoroughly trashed my old spare tyres the RL7s have gone in for a refurb and should be ready with some sticky 1b tyres for the start of the season.
