Jnr when I looked at the car it had a substantial pond in the drivers footwell complete with fish and a fountain. This put me off a bit, did you get it sorted?

I didn't see a pond when I when to see it, and neither did Rob Ingleby.... Am I to be a little worried here ??? Its done some miles in heavy rain and I haven't had any water coming into the cab so maybe they got it sorted... I hope. Will keep an eye on it. Thanks for the info. Did you see anything else to be concerned about ?

Sorry to worry you Jnr, I guess the foot well was dried out after my visit. I did exagerate the problem a bit, but it was very damp if the drivers floor mat was lifted. I didnt see any other major problems, the car just had an air of neglect. But if you got a good price and you look after it, it will be fine. It did need a service as it had had only one in its entire life.

One service in its entire life?
what year is it ? 98?
That should be almost 5 services ie one a year on such a low mileage.
Gulp. But if the price allowed for this then great.
Surely there is no warranty on the car as you need FSH to get this.

Although my car doesn't come out very well in photos, it's apparently called 'indigo violeta'. I think it's a Merc colour.
