TVRCC Mania 2003
Discussion
Any owners planning to go to the TVRCC Mania 2003
at Bruntingthorpe 9th August?
I plan to be there and may indulge in the karting
with my brother.
Cheers

Hi Graham......
We are going along with a possee from Mid Essex.
Have to meet up and have a chinwag. ....//P//
What route are you all taking? Are you coming up the M1?
Maybe we could tag my brother's Griff and my Cerbera onto the convoy?
Let me know!

Can anyone turn up, or do you have to be in the TVR Club? I'm looking at getting a Cerbera and it would be good to pop down to see you guys all together!!
Anyone can attend, but everyone has to pay.
Details are here:TVR Mania
Do come down and have a chat, should be a good day!

Yeah, reckon I'll come along to this if it looks like being a nice day. Do we get to charge up the runway at full chat?!!
Washy
"2 mile Sprint open all day – helmets required.
All drivers wishing to take part must sign in at the
control tower before they will be allowed to take to
the runway. All drivers and passengers must sign
disclaimer before being allowed to drive along the
runway. All drivers must be TVRCC members and take
part at their own risk. TVRCC will not be liable for
any damage or injury that may occur."
Non TVRCC members pay a small fee if I recall.

Is it just me or does "Mania" seem to have become more of a commercial event and less of a club day out? Asside from blasting up and down the runway I can't see what else will be there; Hundreds of TVRs - well we had those at Gang on The Green and some fantastic convoys up Chedar Gorge to boot, trade shows - well ok but that's more a chance for the trade guys to flog some gear, Karting but that's another £15 each, other than that dodgy hamburgers and some aircraft. Come on guys convince me I'm wrong, perhaps it's cos' I'm in a bad mood and it's pissing down outside! Rich...

At £15 each with no reductions for kids, I shall not be there.......
No matter how hard I try I cannot justify £60 entry fee.
I know it's not much of a saving but I
was charged £10 for my daughter.
They told me that they were charging for children to attend as
they did want to encourage lots of children to be
there in case they got hurt.
It is very open there so I guess I can see both sides.
