If the fish aren't rising I will try and make an appearance.

Four Cerbera's and a very large TVR turn out, coupled
with a classic car club meeting saw the car park full
beyond the double parking!
Great to finally meet you and your good wife Darren.
Pleased that the ladies hit it off so well.
A nice blast back through the lanes after as well -
excellent night all round.

I can see why you don't want to go for a ride with your brother , what a seriously fast piece of kit his Griffith is. Even when compared to the Cerbera (especially when its only able to be driven at 1/10th maximum ability).
It was good night and great to meet you and your family at last.
It was an amazing turnout, very busy. No wonder the bloke behind the bar looked stunned all night. I didn't meet the owner of the blue cerb but it was good to meet Ceejay, whom is going to be getting some serious mods done to his machine soon. If your not really careful CJ the bug will hit bigtime, you'll end up with some phat zorsts and a wicked spoiler, topped of with some tunes whilst cruisin around the Mac D carpark!!

Your car is sooo quiet compared to mine on a number of counts
Glad to see it with all it's kit on finally.
Never saw Ceejay...or was that who I had to wave at?
The 'new' Blue Cerbera's owner has eluded me twice now, lovely car though .
I'd still like to put yours and mine side by side
to compare notes when you are about some time.
Had the Top Gear video for you (and some loose change!)
but never went back to my car, sorry!

Nope - didn't even go fishing.
I have a new dog that I got from Wood Green - on a stroll yesterday it went totally AWOL. The little bugger is a total hooligan. When I eventually caught the little delinquent and returned home with him I noticed that I must have lost my mobile along the way. I had to retrace my steps (many of them) with another mobile listening for it in a number of huge fields.
Oh, what fun that was. Found it though! Got home about 8pm and was just too red/dehydrated to make an appearance. Sorry I missed it!

Yeah Ceejay was the guy who owned the 4.5 you were virtually standing next to when you waved. He asked after you, and I assumed he was going to talk to you.
The engine is a lot queiter. I believe as you said that the Tappet clearances do have a lot to with this, you may see a difference when you get this done also mine has had the cam change (earlier in its life) to the latter style have you checked your servie history to make sure your car has had the change from clatter cams.
We'll have to go out for a drive and a pint one weekend to compare notes. Have a good day down in Essex on Sunday.

Hi TVRSLAG.....good to meet you....hope your car behaves itself now its been fixed. I'll let you know how the mods go......as I said brakes and suspension next week.......probably Red Rose conversion over the winter! Funny you should mention spoilers and the like.. spoke to Joolz recently and he's working on a rear diffuser (Elise style)....more hp = downforce requirement......not sure about a breakfast table on the back though.
Graham,
Yeah we did wave.....sorry didn't get to speak to you. The last meeting was Le Mans week so obviously I couldn't make it... therefore had a lot of catching up to do with fellow TVR nutz....so much happens in two months.
I spoke to the guy with the blue Cerb........lovely car. Bit of a toy apparently.........drives Karts as a hobby!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully see you at the next meet
