just spoke to the AA about providing a warranty as I'm looking to guard against reliability the best I can. Their cover is actually really quite good and covers almost everything in the car (apart from wear and tear of course) Only problem is they wont supply a warranty on any TVR car. NICE!!!! Trying RAC this afternoon.
I took out the £1000 AA warranty last November, the cars currently at Power having a clutch which I'm hopeing to claim for.
Perhaps they've took to many hits (mine's been recovered twice already )

They.ve stopped doing the £1000 limit one. I was upgrading from the £500 limit, but said its no longer avalable.
I've just bought one two weeks ago from the AA.
£99/annum for £1000 claim and three claims/year. With the balance of my breakdown cover, it cost me £25 until renewal.
I have one with 'Auto Protect' - never heard them mentioned on here before..... supplied with the car.
Just had to have new suspension and brakes...here's hoping (Springs should be covered - and one was knackered!). I wont hold my breath - i will probably die!
anyone with any experience

I have a policy with Auto Protect too! Am about to put it into action regarding a faulty heater control unit!
fingers crossed then!

Does any one else think like me - "hope somet goes in last few months of warranty"
yep im being tight and at the hourly pay limit that you can claim for its not all good... Aint it a b'stard that the things that go arent covered!
dare i not take one next year.... tough decision

Stopped it first of Feb. Not sure whether they are reintroducing it though. Hope so.

That's lucky (or is that another insurance company?), I bought mine on the 31st Jan.
