Hi Beemer.
I'm sure olly is right. If theres oil leakage near your clutch pedal, then its the master cylinder, which is cheap to repair. Oil on the floor is the slave, and yes, gear box out.
My problem is worse. Possible fingers gone on clutch. Thats new clutch. slave, bell housing and flywheel, as I think its the original clutch, therefore needs upgrading. This is my first nightmare since owning a TVR, and i'm probably correct in saying it wont be the last.

Finally got my car back today, and it was great to be in it again.
It turned out, as one or two of you suggested, that some of the fingers had broken off the diaphram spring.
The annoying thing was though, because it was possibly still the original clutch, I needed the upgrade clutch which meant buying a new flywheel etc..
Managed to get a third of the costs paid by Warranty Holdings, and a bigger sum paid by the AA's 'parts and labour' insurance I had just added on to my breakdown cover. Therefore, its not hit my pocket as much as I orinally thought.

Thanks to all for your help.

Special thanks to Joolz for doing a great job.
