Guys, anyone attempted to shorten their number plate on the fornt and back of their cerbs. I'm of the opinion the cut down number plates are smarter(obvioulsy you've got to have a private one!). It looks like its damn near impossible on the front though as the fixing holes are so far apart. Anyone tried to stick it on the lower front spoiler and no whether thats legal or not. DOnt want to drill two more holes for number plate fixings in the body work. Suppose some sort of bracket may work?
DOnt fancy putting it on the bonnet either!

ANy sparks if inspiration???

You won't be able to put a shorter one on the rear as it covers a hole!

you should find that the holes are just drilled so you can fill them and touch it up, but there should actually be 2 bolt holes in the thicker section of the centre bar there is in my 1998 Cerbera anyway. If you go to www.fancyplates.com they will make you up a smaller plate i have an 85% size one on the front and looks about right.

Many Elise owners just remove it and get less stress from BiB than those who have the reduced size versions that cover the mounting plinth, very small indeed!

Keep it in the boot and say it fell off, or even keep high strngth velcro so you can slap it back on?
