Cerbera Window Problem!!!!!

When i press the door release button under the wing mirror, the window doesn't drop nor does it go up when i close the door...... Any Ideas??????????????

Have a look behind the trim panel, there's a reed type switch, which is operated when the glass goes down, basically it tells the control box when the glass is far enough down(left hand side of the door) and to open the door. It maybe stuck down......also check the wiring connectors as these seem to soak up water like sponges and then of course the dreaded corrosion sets in.

As an afterthought, try "resetting" the control box first. Involves disconnecting the plug with the red and black wires..leave for 5 minutes and reconnect.

Also have a search around previous threads, as window probs seem to happen a lot.

Check your door switch or sensor...

My car had this a little while ago...

If your interior light doesn't come on with the door open then that could be the problem or at least part of it....
